COMMISSION-BASED ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Project Sales Consultant to join our growing home improvement and construction team. This role is responsible for generating new leads, working company-provided opportunities, conducting in-home consultations, and closing sales for a variety of residential construction projects. Projects may include roofing, siding, windows, doors, and general remodeling. This is a consultative, in-home sales role where you will guide homeowners through project options and solutions. While the company provides qualified, marketing-generated leads, this is a commission-based position that requires initiative and consistency in generating self-sourced business. Success in this role depends on your ability to both close provided opportunities and proactively create your own pipeline. This role is best suited for driven, competitive individuals who are confident in their ability to build relationships, manage projects, and close deals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid work ethic, construction knowledge, and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience. Key Responsibilities Generate new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, door-to-door outreach, and other proactive methods Work and close both company-provided and self-generated leads Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners to assess project needs Perform property inspections, including roofs, exteriors, and other areas as needed Develop project scopes across multiple home improvement and construction services Educate customers on materials, solutions, and project options using a consultative sales approach Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and contracts Follow company pricing, sales processes, and standards Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the sales process Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution Keep accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity in the CRM Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals Work independently while utilizing company tools and systems Maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed Qualifications and Skills Sales experience in construction, home improvement, or a related industry preferred Strong understanding of residential construction and home improvement required (ability to confidently scope and explain projects) Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to succeed in a commission-based environment Comfortable performing property inspections, including working outdoors and at heights when needed Strong organizational and time management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Compensation and Benefits Uncapped, commission-based pay with high earning potential Top performers have the potential to earn $150K+ annually Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company
