Job Description

Sales & Support Specialist Goal:
Drive customer satisfaction and sales growth by managing inbound communications, order processing, and support primarily across independent retailer channels with occasional assistance required for consumer channels. Manage a robust outbound communications schedule with independent retailers to improve sales growth and gain new accounts. Client Engagement & Communication Respond promptly to independent retailer and consumer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and written correspondence. Build and maintain strong relationships with independent retailers by providing product information, resolving issues, and offering tailored support. Promote company products and services through knowledgeable, solution-oriented conversations. Order Management & Fulfillment Accurately enter and process orders, including rush requests and follow-ups on pending transactions. Monitor and manage the open orders, using strategic outreach via phone and email. Sales Strategy & Account Support Develop outreach plans for assigned independent retailers, including follow-ups on quotes and literature packets. Be able to effectively follow up with accounts based on trade show interactions. Promote company products and find the best fit for retailers based on their geographic location, top sellers, and other variables. Assist with onboarding customers to B2C and B2B portals, ensuring smooth access to online ordering and account tools. Identify stocking retailer locations to guide consumers toward local purchasing options. Product Knowledge & Upselling Provide recommendations and upsell/cross-sell opportunities based on customer needs and product expertise. Communicate unit pricing, shipping timelines, and potential delays clearly and proactively. CRM & Recordkeeping Maintain accurate customer records and log daily communications in a shared system for team visibility. Track customer feedback and recommend new products or services to management based on insights. Showroom & Event Support Offer showroom assistance as needed and represent the company professionally at trade shows, matches, and industry events (travel may be required). Support team coverage during absences and contribute to a collaborative sales environment. Sales Funnel Projects Conduct outreach to active and inactive dealer accounts, update records, and promote in-stock inventory. Ensure retailers are receiving newsletters and remain engaged with the sales funnel. Work towards goals and quotas set for new stocking retailer accounts and improving sales figures of existing independent retailers. Be able to easily identify a daily call plan for outreach. Work effectively with management and team members to strategize and develop course of action for how to sell the line and target new wholesale accounts nationwide Required Skills & Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong time management to meet daily quotas and outbound sales goals Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred. Proven sales experience is a must Great phone etiquette and interpersonal skills and people skills for various types of customer interaction
