Business Development & Operations Associate Location:

Type:
Full-time / Evolutionary Role About the Role Pratikomedical is seeking a dynamic, multi-talented individual to become a key pillar of our division in Lyndonville. This role is a unique blend of marketing, business development, and operational management. Working in close collaboration with the Director, you will help boost the visibility of our innovative products, including the specialized WABSY braking system.
Growth Pathway:
This is a structured, evolutionary role. You will initially support the Director in client meetings and administrative tasks. Over a 6 to 12-month period, you will progressively master the technical aspects to independently lead product demonstrations and drive business development. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Client Relations (45%) Proactively contact current and prospective clients to schedule meetings and demonstrations. Assist the Director in product presentations to master the technical aspects of the WABSY system, transitioning to a lead sales role over time. Handle incoming inquiries (phone/email) and provide exceptional customer service and basic technical support. 2. Marketing & Digital Presence (25%) Manage and update the company website and digital platforms (Google, Facebook, etc.) to enhance brand visibility. Support promotional activities and assist at major industry trade shows (e.g., AOTA). 3. Administration & Logistics (30%)
Fleet Management:
Oversee and manage the inventory and tracking of our demonstration wheelchair fleet. Manage the invoicing cycle using QuickBooks (quotes, packing slips, and invoices). Coordinate product shipping, logistics, and maintain organized records using the Microsoft Office suite.
Requirements People Person & Growth Mindset:
Natural ability to connect with others, comfortable with cold calling, and eager to learn the medical/rehabilitation market.
Autonomy & Organization:
A self-starter capable of shifting efficiently between creative marketing, client interactions, and rigorous administrative duties.
Software Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office suite is required.
Languages:
Fluent in English. Ability to speak French is a strong asset for seamless communication with our Canadian headquarters. Ability to speak Spanish is also considered a valuable asset.
Mobility:
Valid driver's license and availability for occasional travel (trade shows, client visits). Why Join Pratikomedical?
