401k with generous company match Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid vacation and sick leave Life insurance Paid holidays Pay negotiable, depending on experience Ideal candidate will have: Customer service or inside sales experience in a related field. i.e. industrial supplies, automotive, hardware, plumbing, etc. Hydraulic hose and fittings knowledge. Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and communication skills. What you'll do: Greet and sell product to retail or wholesale customers at our store's front counter. Prepare customer sales orders, quote prices, record cash payments on cash register and card payments on credit card machine. Determine stock levels, suggest alternative manufacturer products depending on customer pricing and timeline needs. Investigate and resolve customer problems with returns or exchanges. Assist with order fulfillment as necessary, including hose fabrication and picking parts. Answer phones as directed for inside sales.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to search inventory on hand quantities in our inventory software and ability to prepare sales quotes and orders for our customers in our order processing software.

Education:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training in inside sales.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand and hear. Specific vision requirements required by this job include close vision due to the high demand in processing customer orders. Lifting up to 20 lbs is customary. Employee may occasionally be required to lift up to 50lbs of product inventory.
