Inside Sales Representative

Job Summary:

Inside Sales provides technical assistance to customers and outside sales teams. The position is responsible for making product recommendations based on customer application; interpreting plant specifications; securing project take-offs; preparing quotations; tracking projects; processing orders; and many additional tasks as required that contribute to the improved efficiency of our customer base.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Develop thorough technical understanding of products and applications.
• Provide solutions to customer's applications.
• Provide technical support to sales team and customer base for daily requirements as well as project opportunities.
• Assist customers with material specification, take-off & selection.
• Determine pricing and margins. Prepare quotations, process orders, follow order to ensure critical delivery dates are met
• Work with procurement and finance departments as needed.

Essential Physical Functions/Equipment Used:

• Able to tackle multiple projects while being organized, detail, and deadline oriented.
• Excellent internal & external communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and task management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Previous experience with Prophet21 (P21) or similar CRM/ERP systems preferred
• Candidates must be able to work within a team organization, multi-task, meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Associate Degree required. Preferred in Business or Mechanical Engineering Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $64000.00 - $72800.00/yr. 401k health insurance person and company based performance bonus Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Appleton,WI.
