  • Full-time Architectural Sales Representative We are seeking a relationship-driven Architectural Sales Representative to grow Pella product specifications within architectural firms across the residential new construction and commercial construction markets.
In this role, you will build strong partnerships with architects and designers, influence project specifications early in the design process, and collaborate with Trade and Commercial Sales Representatives to help drive profitable sales growth. Key Responsibilities The Architectural Sales Representative is responsible for building demand, strengthening relationships, and supporting revenue growth through specification-driven selling. What You'll Do
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects and designers in residential and commercial markets to secure product specifications.
  • Develop new business while strengthening existing partnerships through consistent in-person meetings, project support, and relationship-building activities.
  • Present product solutions, technical details, and accredited AIA presentations to architects, designers, and other stakeholders.
  • Review plans, construction documents, and specifications to identify opportunities and support project development.
  • Enter and maintain project and account details in CRM and share relevant opportunities with Trade and Commercial Sales teams for bidding and closing.
  • Create and execute weekly, monthly, and annual business plans aligned with team and individual sales goals. Additional Responsibilities
  • Represent the company at AIA, CSI, and Home Building Association events and build strong industry networks.
  • Support home and garden shows, trade events, and other marketing activities, including occasional evening and weekend participation.
  • Host educational workshops, lunch-and-learns, and client appreciation events.
  • Provide technical product information and guidance to clients and internal partners.
  • Track specification activity across architectural firms and stay current on product, competitor, and industry trends. What Success Looks Like

  • Industry and product knowledge Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, construction management, architecture, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in construction, building products, or architectural sales.
  • Knowledge of construction documents, architectural specifications, and project workflows preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop new business and build long-term client relationships.
  • Professional certifications such as CSI, AIA, CDT, or AMMA are a plus. Physical Requirements This role requires the ability to travel regularly and perform the following essential physical functions:
  • Drive to customer sites, offices, events, and jobsites.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds using safe lifting techniques and regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and other project documents.
  • Climb stairs, ladders, and steps as needed.
  • Visit active outdoor jobsites and occasionally work in varying weather and environmental conditions.
  • Communicate with customers in person and by phone.
  • Demonstrate products in a showroom environment, including opening and closing displays.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
