This growth is accomplished by focusing on the delivery of value-added solutions to clients and prospects that will help portfolio companies reach their goals and maximize our revenues over the life of the relationship. In this business development role, you are the focal point of the client relationship, orchestrating the interface with clients and credit support staff as well as product partners. What You'll Do Achieve new business by identifying and maintaining quality revenue generating sales opportunities, seeking opportunities to cross-sell into relationships and anticipating future needs of the client Establish meaningful partnerships with private equity firms to support their acquisitions, buyouts and strategies Originate and structure debt facilities to support private equity-backed acquisitions, recapitalizations and growth investments Design and deliver creative banking solutions to customers and prospects, as well as manage and review existing relationships Generate self-sourced business by developing relationships in the market, and growing internal and external network referrals, building a high-quality, long-term prospect portfolio Collaborate with credit team to fully understand performance of portfolio companies through financial statements and trend analysis; effectively managing timely resolution of exceptions, renewals, reviews and the credit process Actively participate and represent the team, engaging internally within the organization and externally within the community in ways that contribute value and demonstrate leadership Qualifications Bachelor's degree with a business, finance, accounting, or related major Minimum 10 years' sponsor finance experience Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships and interact with various business lines and management Successful track record of driving new business growth and developing well rounded client relationships Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask Extensive experience in building and supporting business line development and operations Lead by example; fostering collaboration, ownership and result Benefits Medical Insurance
