Commercial HVAC Sales Rep Bredan Mechanical Systems Waukesha, WI Job Details Full-time From $75,000 a year 2 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Microsoft Excel HVAC sales Business development Driver's License B2B business model Driving B2B Full Job Description Overview The Commercial HVAC Service Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, expanding existing customer relationships, and driving recurring service revenue through preventive maintenance agreements, quoted repairs, system upgrades, and retrofit opportunities. This role works closely with commercial building owners, property managers, facility managers, and internal operations teams to identify needs, develop practical solutions, and deliver long-term value to customers. Key Responsibilities Develop new commercial HVAC service business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and follow-up on leads. Build and maintain strong relationships with building owners, property managers, facility managers, and other commercial decision-makers to support customer retention and growth. Conduct site visits to assess equipment condition, system performance, and service needs, and identify opportunities for maintenance agreements, repairs, retrofits, and system improvements. Prepare and present preventive maintenance agreements, quoted repair proposals, and upgrade or retrofit solutions that align with customer needs, equipment condition, and budget expectations. Work closely with service, estimating, and operations teams to develop scopes, support pricing, and ensure work is delivered accurately and professionally. Maintain an active pipeline in the company CRM system, document customer activity, and provide accurate forecasting of opportunities and expected close dates. Meet or exceed established sales, gross margin, and maintenance agreement targets. Represent the company professionally in customer meetings, site visits, networking events, and industry functions. Stay current on commercial HVAC equipment, energy efficiency solutions, code requirements, and industry trends to better advise customers. Qualifications 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, building systems, or a related field. Experience selling service agreements, quoted repairs, retrofit work, or other recurring commercial service solutions preferred. Strong relationship-building and business development skills, with the ability to generate new opportunities and grow existing accounts. Technical aptitude and ability to understand commercial HVAC systems, equipment applications, and service-related customer needs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present proposals and explain technical solutions in a clear, customer-friendly way. Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage a sales territory, pipeline, and follow-up activity independently.
