Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Material Coordinator/Sales professional to join our team! In this multifaceted role, you will be the vital link between procurement, manufacturing, and sales operations, ensuring seamless materials management and exceptional customer service. Your proactive approach will help optimize inventory levels, streamline supply chain processes, and foster strong supplier relationships. Responsibilities Manage procurement activities using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS to ensure timely acquisition of materials aligned with production schedules. Coordinate inventory control, demand planning, and materials management to support manufacturing and production planning efforts. Oversee supply chain operations including logistics, warehouse activities, and distribution to guarantee efficient flow of materials. Maintain strong supplier management relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability. Collaborate with production teams to align supply chain strategies with manufacturing needs, utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for optimal planning. Conduct regular inventory audits and implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve inventory accuracy. Support purchasing activities by preparing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and resolving supply discrepancies promptly. Experience Proven experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms in a materials or supply chain environment. Strong background in procurement, purchasing, and vendor management within manufacturing or logistics sectors. Familiarity with inventory management techniques including demand planning, inventory control, and contracts management. Hands-on warehouse experience coupled with knowledge of logistics, transportation coordination, and warehouse safety protocols. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain optimization strategies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams. Pay:
$13.00 - $22.00 per hour
