Position Overview First Neighborhood Bank is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Officer to drive new loan growth and expand banking relationships within our markets. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing a loan portfolio, and serving as a trusted financial partner to our customers. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow new commercial and consumer lending relationships Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community Analyze financial information and evaluate loan applications to determine creditworthiness Structure, present, and close loan opportunities within established lending limits Maintain and service an existing loan portfolio, ensuring quality and compliance Promote the Bank's full range of products and services, including commercial deposit solutions Build and maintain referral networks to support ongoing business development efforts Assist customers in identifying financial goals and recommending appropriate solutions Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and local organizations to enhance the Bank's presence Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures Qualifications Associate's degree (or equivalent experience); Bachelor's degree preferred 2-4 years of experience in lending, banking, or business development Strong knowledge of financial analysis and credit underwriting principles Excellent communication, sales, and relationship-building skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to travel within a 100-mile radius using personal transportation Ability to obtain and maintain NMLS registration (if applicable) First Neighborhood Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
