This temp role is based in Los Angeles and focuses on optimizing game release processes. Our client creates innovative character-based tactical shooters enjoyed worldwide.
Release Manager II Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute the game release and deployment processes to ensure a seamless experience for players. Manage daily operations of the release pipeline, adhering to established procedures to ensure stability and readiness. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth and timely releases. Assist teams in following release best practices, escalating potential risks impacting users. Support improvements to delivery tools and processes, monitoring pipelines and resolving issues effectively.
Release Manager II Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in Release Management, QA, Live Operations, or related roles within PC software or live service environments. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Perforce, Git, Datadog, and JIRA. Proven ability to follow release procedures reliably in a live service setting. Basic troubleshooting skills with the capacity to escalate issues appropriately. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
