The Luxury Wine Division Manager will be responsible for managing a team of market specialists that will be responsible for growing our Luxury Wine portfolio in both the on and off premise division. The Luxury Manager will take their passion for fine wine and build strong distributor programming, manage account relationships, promote education initiatives, organize event activations, and coordinate spokesperson visits. The Manager will be part of a highly motivated team that values execution and seeks new opportunities in the market.Job Requirements:
Manage team of market specialists that are focused on the sales of Luxury premium brands within the On Premise and Retail division. Works in conjunction with our On Premise and Retail Division Managers to collaborate on programming, initiatives, and account calls. Actively seeks to grow the portfolio through acquisition of new suppliers/brands. Promotes positive relationships with customers, buyers, and sales consultants. Participates in and conducts training for winery and distributor sales personnel as well as account personnel (wine/spirit tasting and wait staff training). Makes regular sales calls on all relevant Fine Wine and Fine Dining accounts in the assigned markets to provide the primary relationship between the account and Luxury team. Improves distribution and sales rate of luxury products by executing focused sales strategies and efforts. Presents programs to winery and distributor sales organizations. Participates in spokesperson initiatives. Supports the education efforts for luxury premium brands. Demonstrates an above average wine/spirits knowledge.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of premium wine or spirits sales experience including on premise wine sales, wine sales management or sommelier experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; Valid driver's license and good driving record. Skilled in all basic fine wine/spirits training; currently be in the process (within 6-9 months) ofCSW/CSS/WSET
certification. The expected pay range for this role is $ 77,849.46 - $ 131,890.50. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
