Job Description Overview:
This position is responsible for the internal coordination of Crop Protection Products & Services between the business director and the Keystone field team. Some of the responsibilities will be to support the regional agronomy teams by collaborating on marketing campaigns, executing stocking programs, managing inventory carry levels, analyzing market trends, and managing product lifecycles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to: Supports Keystone Cooperative's stated Vision, Mission, and Business Values Projects a positive attitude to customers, vendors and employees at all times Meet Crop Protection business goals Collaborate with Region Directors & Sales Leads on CPP planning and growth opportunities Assist the Region Directors & Sales Leads in the development of short- and long-term plans for the regions. Communicate CPP inventory levels, trends, and forecast updates to the regions Assist Region Directors & Sales Leads with the creation and maintenance of 6-, 12-, and 18-month forecasts Develop and foster relationships between agronomy locations and CPP manufacturers Communicate effectively with the procurement team and with local team to ensure proper margin opportunity captured Travel expectations minimum of 60% of the time within Keystone market
Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrate essential abilities including communications, customer focus, and decision making Basic agronomy knowledge and skills (insects, weed and disease identification, fertility) Strong understanding of CPP products (Adjuvants, Pesticides, Micronutrients, Stabilizers, Fungicides, etc) Financial knowledge including reading and understanding financial statements Ability and willingness to work long hours and on-call as business conditions warrant A blend of
Product Knowledge/Market Awareness/Implementation Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Direct experience within the Crop Protection industry Valid driver's license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy.
