YOU ARE THE ASSISTANT COACH
As the HVAC Field Supervisor , you are not just fixing problems—you are raising the bar . This role is approximately 90% in the field , working directly with technicians to improve performance, consistency, and customer experience. You serve as a key support partner to the Service Manager , helping reduce callbacks, improve first-time fixes, and develop technicians through coaching and accountability. You will also support the dispatcher and fill in as needed , making experience with ServiceTitan highly preferred . What You'll Do Coach and mentor technicians on proper diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems Ride along with technicians to proactively reduce callbacks and improve job quality Identify trends, skill gaps, and opportunities to improve first-time fix rates Support the Service Manager with weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with technicians Assist with departmental training and ongoing technical development, including weekly training sessions Reinforce and build value around company processes and service standards Serve as a strong liaison between technicians, dispatch, management, and customers Provide dispatcher support and coverage as needed to ensure smooth daily operations Utilize ServiceTitan to review jobs, performance metrics, workflows, and callbacks Conduct inside sales support and customer "happy calls" to follow up on completed jobs Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and customer-first thinking
