Job Details Description Knife River has an immediate opening for an Aggregate Scale Person based at our Tumalo office location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Operate truck scales through computer terminal Answer telephones and assist customers both in person and remotely Collect and reconcile daily cash sales (credit card processing, etc.) Process end of day paperwork and transmit to office Assist dispatch as needed Drive to different jobsites within the day to provide lunch coverage and as needed Assist with front desk coverage and other duties as assigned Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed Other duties assigned as needed Typical Hours 6:45-3:30

M-F Minimum Qualifications:

Aptitude for dealing with customers, sales and problem solving Ability to operate a computer terminal and manage multiple tasks at the same time Legible handwriting, good organizational and communication skills, general math and writing skills Must be people oriented, able to provide exceptional customer service, empathetic and flexible Previous scale experience is a plus Knowledge of market area and previous construction experience is helpful Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
