Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to recruit new agency partners, focusing on outside sales channels and market expansion opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships with agency owners and prospective partners through proactive outreach, negotiation, and consultation Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to agency staff on insurance products, regulatory compliance, benefits administration, and sales techniques Conduct analysis of market trends, competitor activity, and agency performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize sales strategies Oversee sales administration processes including documentation, licensing compliance, and reporting to ensure operational efficiency Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that promote insurance products such as health, property casualty, and commercial insurance Ensure all agency activities adhere to insurance regulations including HIPAA requirements when handling sensitive customer data Experience Proven success in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making at various levels of an organization Experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred, especially knowledge of health insurance, property casualty insurance, or commercial lines Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse client bases Familiarity with sales administration tools, analysis skills for market research, and benefits administration processes Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively train and support agency teams Knowledge of insurance regulation standards and compliance requirements such as HIPAA is a plus This role is ideal for energetic professionals eager to grow within the insurance sector by fostering meaningful partnerships and delivering outstanding service.
