POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Liaison plays a critical role in driving the success of the sales team by qualifying and managing leads, overseeing permitting processes, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. This position bridges communication between departments, analyzes sales data for actionable insights, and provides exceptional support to both internal teams and clients. As a key contributor to our sales operations, the Sales Liaison is instrumental in maintaining efficient workflows and delivering a superior customer experience.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

Field all inbound calls and direct to the appropriate departments Mine marketing qualified leads in an effort to make contact and convert them to sales qualified leads Assign all sales qualified leads to the sales team Ensure that the sales team properly reports their daily KPIs Analyze sales KPIs and report trends to the Operations Manager Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to identify beneficial marketing strategies based on lead flow and quality Assist callers by helping to identify products that best fit their needs Assist clients with the purchase of surveys and receiving quotes for surveys Follow up with clients to ensure surveys are received in a timely manner Conduct and oversee all residential permitting activity Continually update all permitting standard operating procedures Keep all municipality specific licenses current Maintain accurate and consistent documentation in BuilderTrend for all permitting-related documents Foster positive relations with municipalities to ensure efficiency Conduct permit plan revisions with the support of the Sales Manager Assist the sales team with administrative tasks as needed

KEY COMPETENCIES

Proficient in Google Workspace applications Comfortable with reporting and analyzing data Technical expert with ability to learn new software programs Competent problem solver Professional phone etiquette Desire to help others

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED Sales or permitting experience preferred Experience with HubSpot preferred 2-3 years of customer service experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of time sitting at a desk or computer
