Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Automotive Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire used car inventory, drive sales growth through innovative marketing and customer engagement strategies, and manage a dynamic team of sales professionals. Your leadership will ensure a seamless customer experience, maximize profitability, and uphold the dealership's reputation for excellence. Duties Lead the used car department by developing sales strategies that boost revenue and market share through effective inventory management and targeted marketing efforts. Cultivate a high-performing sales team by providing coaching, training, and motivation to meet and exceed sales targets. Manage the entire sales pipeline—from prospecting new customers via outbound calls and B2B (business-to-business) sales to closing high-end deals with a focus on upselling premium vehicles. Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement. Conduct negotiations with customers to secure favorable deals while ensuring high customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication skills. Oversee inventory control to maintain an optimal mix of vehicles, monitor market trends, and implement effective marketing campaigns to attract diverse buyers. Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, local regulations, and industry standards related to automobile sales and customer service. Support the dealership's overall marketing efforts by coordinating promotional events and leveraging social media platforms to increase visibility. Qualifications Proven experience in dealership or retail automotive sales management with a strong understanding of used vehicle operations. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Strong communication skills in bilingual proficiency is desirable. Proficiency with CRM software, inventory management systems, and retail math calculations. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and public speaking abilities. Experience in inventory control, upselling techniques, outbound sales strategies, and marketing initiatives.
