We're locally owned, B Corporation Certified, and give back to our community. We've built a reputation for doing things right: quality installs, happy customers, and a team that takes pride in the work. We do not do a redline model, which aligns your incentives with the clients. Saturdays are required! We're not a high-pressure churn-and-burn operation. We're a real company with real roots in Colorado, and we want consultants who represent that. What This Role Is This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor position. We schedule appointments, you close the deal. You own your income. The upside is real, many of our reps have earned well over $200,000 in a year.
We handle the hard part:
Apollo provides company-set appointments, so you're not cold calling or door-knocking from scratch. You show up, run the meeting, and close the deal. The schedule is flexible. This works as a full-time career or a part-time income stream. We're open to both, and we'll work around what's right for you. This role requires reliable transportation and in-person appointments at customer homes and businesses within 2 hours of Denver. What You'll Do Run pre-set appointments with homeowners and business owners interested in solar Conduct site consultations, present customized proposals, and close sales Represent Apollo with professionalism and genuine care for the customer Follow up with leads and past prospects to drive pipeline What We're Looking For Solar Sales experience — experience selling solar and/or roofing is required. Bonus points for commercial solar experience Strong communicator who can explain value clearly and build trust fast Self-motivated and accountable — you treat this like your own business Reliable vehicle and willingness to drive throughout the region Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor Compensation Commission-only (1099) Reps can earn $200,000+ per year Company-provided, pre-set appointments — no cold calling required. Significantly higher commission for self generated sales Uncapped earning potential Full-time or part-time — you control your schedule This Is Not For Everyone If you need a base salary and a rigid schedule, this isn't the right fit. If you're a closer who wants control over your income and the backing of a high-quality, established company — this is worth a serious look.
