You will recruit, lead, and grow a field sales team selling the complete Tesla residential ecosystem across the Greater Chicago area. You believe great sales directors lead by example, joining their reps at the door when it matters. You love the rhythm of running daily sales meetings, field coaching, and watching new reps become closers. You are a closer at heart, with the credibility to win team buy-in because you can do the job yourself. You are the kind of leader who turns a high-intent neighborhood campaign into measurable team production. You bring proven D2D leadership experience in home improvement or solar, operational competence with CRMs and team accountability, and a closer's mentality. Who We Are Phoenix Exteriors has 20 years in business and has spent the last five years as the vanguard of renewable energy in Illinois. We are the exclusive Tesla Solar Roof installer for Chicagoland and Tennessee, and Tesla has enlisted us to lead the charge for their entire residential suite. We are the only group in the region offering the complete Tesla Ecosystem, including Tesla Solar Roof, Tesla Solar Panels with Integrated Racking, Tesla Powerwall 3, and Tesla Wall Connector. We were named the 2024 recipient of REC Americas' Best Residential Solar Project of the Year at the International Renewable Energy Show. What You Will Do Each Day Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing field sales representatives. Run daily sales meetings and provide hands-on field training and coaching. Manage high-intent neighborhood campaigns across the Greater Chicago area. Lead reps through the full Tesla product suite, from Solar Roof to Powerwall to Wall Connector. Drive team volume to hit aggressive growth targets. Maintain CRM accountability and team operational discipline.
