Job Description JNR Equipment & Erosion Services is a growing, family-owned provider of erosion and sediment control services. We specialize in delivering reliable, high-quality erosion control solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects. We are actively seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative who will spend the majority of their time on the road across the East Coast, calling on site development companies, general contractors, and project owners in the Power, Solar, Civil, and Site Development sectors. Key Responsibilities Travel extensively throughout the East Coast (PA, NY, NJ and surrounding states) visiting contractors and project sites. Develop new business and secure erosion control contracts on Power projects, Solar Farms, Data Centers, Transmission Lines, Abandon Mine Reclamations, Turnpike/Highway work, and other heavy civil site development projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with estimators, project managers, superintendents, and procurement teams in the power, solar, civil, and site development industries. Present JNR's erosion control services (compost filter socks, erosion blankets, temporary seeding, mulch blowing, etc.) and provide solutions tailored to each project's specifications and environmental requirements. Track project bids and upcoming work in the power, solar, civil, and site development markets. Requirements Industry experience is
REQUIRED
- Minimum 3+ years of proven sales experience in the Power, Solar, Civil, and/or Site Development sectors with a strong emphasis on erosion and sediment control.
Direct knowledge of selling to or working on Solar Farms, Utility/Power Projects, Data Centers, Transmission Lines, Mine Reclamation, Turnpike/Highway, and other heavy civil/site development projects. Solid understanding of erosion control Best Management Practices (BMPs), NPDES permits, and ESCGP regulations. Self-motivated road warrior comfortable traveling 3-4+ days per week. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
