Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Solar Sales Administrator to support our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process, from initial lead management to post-sale administrative tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Sales Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the residential solar sales team, including scheduling appointments, preparing sales proposals, and managing customer inquiries.
CRM Management:
Maintain and update customer records, sales activities, and pipeline status within the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare and process all necessary sales documentation, contracts, and agreements. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Permitting & Interconnection:
Assist with the preparation and submission of permitting and interconnection applications for solar installations, coordinating with relevant departments and utility companies.
Reporting:
Generate regular sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to the sales management team to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Service:
Act as a liaison between the sales team and customers, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
Pipeline Management:
Monitor the sales pipeline, track project progress, and proactively identify potential bottlenecks to ensure timely project completion.
Marketing Support:
Provide administrative and logistical support for in-person sales events, including material preparation, coordination, and on-site assistance as needed.
Qualifications Experience:
Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role, preferably within the solar energy or renewable energy industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Organizational Skills:
Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is a plus. Preferred Skills Familiarity with residential solar sales processes and terminology. Knowledge of permitting and interconnection requirements for solar projects. Experience with Third Party Owned residential solar products like Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Solar Leases Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work independently as well as part of a team. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
