In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our renewable energy solutions by engaging with potential customers, educating them on solar energy benefits, and guiding them through the sales process. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help homeowners and businesses harness clean energy, reduce costs, and contribute to a sustainable future. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills while making a positive impact on the environment. Duties Conduct outside sales efforts through door-to-door outreach, community events, and targeted marketing campaigns to identify prospective solar customers Engage with potential clients in a professional, friendly manner to explain solar energy benefits and answer their questions Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and follow up effectively Negotiate contracts and financing options with customers to close sales successfully Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer needs are accurately assessed and solutions are tailored accordingly Maintain a strong understanding of energy sales trends, solar technology, and local regulations to provide accurate information Develop leadership skills by mentoring new team members and contributing to team goals Skills Proven experience in outside sales, especially door-to-door or field marketing approaches Strong knowledge of solar sales, energy solutions, and technical sales concepts Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently Bilingual or multilingual abilities preferred to connect with diverse customer bases Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM platforms for managing customer data Outstanding customer service skills that foster trust and long-term relationships Ability to lead initiatives, motivate others, and work independently in a fast-paced environment Join us as a Solar Consultant and be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to transforming the energy landscape!
