Up to $23.00 per hour, plus commission / $60,000 to $90,000 on-target earnings Job Overview Our client, an established, regional energy company with a high-growth solar division, is looking to hire an exceptional Inside Sales Representative to focus on a large volume and pipeline of service calls and requests from prospective customers. This is a full-time role with our client.
Job Responsibilities Quote Generation & Sales:
Prepare and send service quotes to homeowners for solar repairs, add-ons, upgrades, and maintenance agreements.
Lead Conversion:
Respond promptly to inbound service inquiries and proactively follow up with customers via phone, email, and text to overcome objections and close open estimates.
Strategic Upselling:
Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities, including battery storage additions, system expansions, main panel upgrades, and advanced monitoring systems.
CRM & Pipeline Management:
Track and manage all service opportunities within the CRM, maintaining meticulously detailed communication notes and follow-up reminders.
Cross-Department Coordination:
Work seamlessly with the field service and operations teams to ensure a smooth project handoff once service work is scheduled.
Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets while consistently delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Successful Candidates Must Have:
Solar Knowledge:
An understanding of solar systems is a requirement for this role in order to accurately and efficiently quote repairs, upgrades, and technical expansions.
Sales Experience:
At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the home services or renewable energy sectors.
CRM Proficiency:
Hands-on experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM systems.
Organizational Discipline:
A process-driven approach with strong follow-up discipline.
Exceptional Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, paired with a professional, customer-focused, and self-motivated attitude.
