Coming from Solar, Pest Control, Roofing, or Alarms? If you're already knocking doors, running appointments, and closing deals—you've built the hardest skillset in sales. Now it's time to sell a higher-end product, with less saturation, bigger tickets, and stronger margins . At Tidewater Lights, we help experienced home services reps turn their hustle into six-figure income with real growth potential . Why Make the Switch? Bigger deal sizes = higher commissions per close Less market saturation than solar/pest = more opportunity Proven sales process (no guessing, no chaos) High-end product homeowners want—not something you have to "push" Strong culture built on performance, not excuses What You'll Do Generate opportunities through door knocking and neighborhood canvassing Run in-home consultations and lighting demos for homeowners Follow a structured, proven sales process from start to close Present pricing confidently while protecting margins Close high-ticket residential lighting projects Track all activity and pipeline in CRM Work closely with production for smooth project handoffs This Role Is for Closers — Not Lead Takers If you're used to relying on company leads, this won't be a fit. Activity Expectations (Non-Negotiable): Minimum 50 doors per day 15 appointments (demos) per week 5 days per week (full-time)
Lead Mix:
~70% self-generated (door knocking) ~30% company-provided (1-2/day max) Compensation & Earnings Commission Only - Uncapped Average performer: ~$70,000/year Strong performer: $100,000+ Top performers: $250,000+
Structure:
Higher commissions on self-generated deals Split commissions on company leads Redline pricing model (no unnecessary discounting) Who We're Looking For Background in solar, pest control, roofing, alarms, or D2D sales Comfortable knocking doors daily and generating your own pipeline Confident running in-home presentations and closing deals Competitive, disciplined, and self-motivated Coachable and willing to follow a proven system Organized and consistent with follow-up Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willing to work afternoons and evenings (when homeowners are home) Physically able to walk neighborhoods and work outdoors Prior D2D or home services sales experience preferred Culture & Expectations (Read Before Applying) We run a high-accountability, performance-driven team .
