Overview Join our dynamic team as a Night Stocker and become a vital part of our retail operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of our store overnight, ensuring shelves are fully stocked and ready for customer visits. Your proactive approach will help create a seamless shopping experience, support inventory accuracy, and uphold safety standards. Duties Load and unload delivery trucks using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring efficient handling of merchandise. Stock shelves with produce, packaged goods, and other retail items, maintaining proper merchandising standards. Utilize RF scanners to accurately track inventory levels, update stock records, and assist with inventory management. Conduct regular inventory control checks to identify discrepancies and ensure stock accuracy across the warehouse and sales floor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, aisles, and workspaces to promote safety and efficiency. Assist in shipping & receiving processes by preparing shipments for outgoing deliveries and verifying incoming stock. Support customer service efforts by providing assistance on the sales floor when needed, including cashiering or product inquiries. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Collaborate with team members across departments using clear communication skills to ensure smooth operations during night shifts. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any issues promptly to minimize downtime. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or retail stocking background preferred; familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift. Experience with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail for stock accuracy and cleanliness standards. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for effective communication with diverse team members or customers. Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively within the team. Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and focus. Knowledge of retail math principles related to stock levels, pricing, and sales transactions is beneficial.
