In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and sales floor. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create an inviting shopping environment while maintaining efficient stock management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail, warehouse, and customer service skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Duties Assist with receiving, unloading, and processing incoming shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment to facilitate easy access and efficient sales. Engage with customers in a friendly, helpful manner by providing product information, answering questions, and supporting their shopping experience. Conduct regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels, identify discrepancies, and assist with inventory control procedures. Maintain safety standards through proper equipment use (such as forklifts and pallet jacks), routine maintenance, and cleanliness of the warehouse area. Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure displays are attractive and products are properly presented to maximize sales potential. Support retail sales activities including cashiering, processing transactions accurately, and handling customer inquiries with professionalism. Qualifications Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management systems is highly preferred. Ability to operate, pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other warehouse equipment safely. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock management and inventory control. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs) regularly and stand for extended periods during shifts. Experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is advantageous for understanding customer service dynamics. Knowledge of retail math principles such as pricing, discounts, and inventory calculations is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent initiative. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced setting; commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.
