In this dynamic role, you will oversee stock levels, manage purchasing and pricing strategies, supervise team members, and maintain optimal store presentation. Your leadership will drive efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service, making sure our grocery aisles are well-stocked, organized, and inviting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills within a fast-paced retail environment dedicated to quality service and operational excellence. Responsibilities Oversee daily inventory management, including stock replenishment, stock control, and ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking Lead and supervise a team of stock associates and cashiers, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback Coordinate purchasing activities by negotiating with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms while maintaining quality standards Manage pricing strategies by setting competitive prices based on retail math principles and market trends Ensure accurate cashiering procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system operation for smooth transactions Implement merchandising plans to optimize product placement, store layout, and promotional displays that attract customers Conduct regular store inspections to uphold safety standards, cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting Excellent communication skills for team leadership, customer service, negotiation, and vendor relations Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, and retail math principles Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and shift management Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated skills in merchandising, stocking procedures, pricing strategies, and sales management Familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and administrative tasks related to store operations Join us as a Grocery Stock Manager where your leadership fuels our success!
