Role:

We are a growing Ecommerce company looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Prep Team Lead to oversee our product preparation team. You will manage a team of 8 Product Prep Associates and be responsible for ensuring all products are accurately labeled, poly bagged, bubble wrapped, and prepped to meet Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS compliance standards. You will be expected to lead by example, hold your team accountable to daily and weekly quotas, and maintain a high standard of quality and efficiency at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, train, and manage a team of 8 Product Prep Associates, ensuring daily productivity, accuracy, and accountability. Be a strong, assertive leader who holds the team to weekly prep quotas and targets, enforces workplace rules without hesitation, and is not afraid to have tough conversations when performance or standards are not met. Print and assign product labels including FNSKU labels and suffocation warning labels and distribute daily prep tasks to the team. Oversee all product prep operations including manual and machine poly bagging, heat tunnel shrink wrapping, bubble wrapping, bundling, and labeling. Prioritize daily prep tasks based on shipping schedules, Amazon FBA deadlines, and Walmart WFS fulfillment requirements. Monitor and enforce quality standards on every prepped unit, ensuring full compliance with Amazon and Walmart packaging and labeling guidelines. Identify and resolve any prep errors, mislabeled products, or quality issues immediately before products move to the shipping team. Coordinate closely with the Shipping Team Lead to ensure all prepped products are staged, organized, and ready for dispatch according to order priority and deadlines. Drive team efficiency and continuously identify opportunities to improve prep workflows and throughput. Monitor prep supply inventory including labels, poly bags, bubble wrap, shrink wrap, and heat tunnel materials and notify management when restocking is needed. Ensure the prep area is clean, organized, and safe at all times and hold team members responsible for maintaining their own workstations. Track team performance against daily and weekly prep quotas and report progress and challenges to management regularly. Communicate proactively with management regarding workflow bottlenecks, supply shortages, staffing concerns, or any operational issues.

What We're Looking For Leadership Experience :

Proven experience in a team lead or supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse, fulfillment, or ecommerce prep environment.

Product Prep Knowledge :

Strong understanding of Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS prep requirements including labeling, poly bagging, bundling, and packaging compliance standards.

Detail-Oriented :

You take quality seriously and ensure every single unit leaving the prep area meets the required standard. Errors cost the business and you know it.

Accountability :

You lead with high standards, set clear expectations for your team, and follow through when those expectations are not met.

Organization :

You can manage multiple prep tasks, prioritize based on shipping deadlines, and keep the team focused and on track throughout the shift.

Communication :

You communicate clearly with your team, the shipping department, and leadership regarding priorities, challenges, and supply needs.

Reliability:

You are dependable, punctual, and lead by example every single day. Some Saturdays may be required based on operational needs.

Physical Ability:

Comfortable standing for long periods and able to lift/move 10-50+ lbs in a warehouse environment.
