- Rug Handling Specialist (Store) Support daily store and warehouse operations by receiving, moving, stocking, and organizing rug merchandise.
Assist with inventory accuracy, floor replenishment, and customer pickups while maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented rug department. Key Responsibilities Receive, move, stock, and inspect rug merchandise Maintain accurate inventory and proper product placement Support floor replenishment and merchandise flow Assist sales staff with product availability and handling Keep the department organized and customer-ready Follow safety guidelines and company policies This is a great opportunity for someone seeking full time, hands-on work in a team-focused environment. Qualifications & Work Environment The ideal candidate can follow directions, communicate clearly, and perform basic math, counting, and written documentation accurately. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Demonstrate dependability. This role is performed in an active retail store environment and requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the workday, as well as working in varying temperatures. The position requires the ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance, and to use standard warehouse and office equipment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with basic computer skills. Prior warehouse and/or retail store experience is helpful but not required.
