This role involves managing inventory, stocking shelves, and ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse or retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in retail or warehouse settings. Bilingual skills are a plus to effectively serve diverse customer bases. This position offers opportunities for growth and development within our company. Duties Receive, unload, and stock merchandise using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts Manage inventory control through accurate tracking with RF scanners and inventory management systems Maintain organized stock areas, ensuring products are properly labeled and accessible Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including loading and unloading shipments Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of storage areas to ensure safety and cleanliness Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively on shelves Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and locating items Operate retail registers for cashiering duties when needed, including handling transactions accurately Conduct inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies using retail math skills Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse or store operations Qualifications Previous experience in warehouse, retail sales, or grocery store environments preferred Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, and shipping & receiving procedures Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification is a plus) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stock accuracy Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective customer interaction Experience in produce, packaging, merchandising, or maintenance roles is advantageous Good customer service skills with a friendly demeanor Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various shifts as needed This role is vital to maintaining efficient store operations and providing exceptional service to our customers.
