We are a Produce Company, hiring for Produce Associate in the City of Los Angeles, CA Must have Produce or Refrigerated Foods Experience Job title : Produce Associate Job location : Los Angeles, CA 90021
Schedule :
Monday - Saturday 1st shift 3:00am - 3:00pm or see below (Shift can vary) Night shift: Sunday and Tuesday 4pm or 12am
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday :
12:00am Overtime is required Pay rate : $17.87
Job Description:
Prepare and package custom produce blends, fruit cups, and salad kits while adhering to food safety guidelines. Check for freshness and maintain high-quality visual standards. Clean, sanitize, and organize prep areas and display cases. Restock shelves, rotate stock (first-in, first-out), and discard expired products Hands-on handling of fresh fruits and vegetables—sorting, slicing, dicing, and packaging.
Quality Inspection :
Inspect incoming fruits and vegetables, checking for color, ripeness, defects, and maintaining strict food-safety guidelines (HACCP/FSMA).
Prep & Processing :
Slice, dice, and package fresh produce to perfection while ensuring high hygiene standards and safety protocols for knives and machinery.
Requirements:
Knife skills and safety awareness. Physical ability to lift up to \(40\) to \(50\) lbs and stand for extended shifts. Friendly customer service skills for interacting with shoppers All new hires must complete a PW Employment Application at www.priorityworkforce.com
