About the Role… Our Produce Prep works independently on our specialty in-house items. Our in-house products are loved by all our customers! Market Hall Produce is looking for a candidate that has a keen interest in routine work. Customers come in and expect the same great results each time! It is our Produce Prep's job to make sure our recipes are consistent and store cleanliness standards are exceeded. Tasks of the

Role:

Prepare materials for the production of our in-house specialty items and follow recipes -- peel apples, cut fruit/vegetables, juice oranges, etc. Properly label and price house made food items Assist with receiving orders, revising orders to ensure the best quality of produce, properly organizing backstock Properly clean and sanitize tools/machinery after each use Maintain label bin organized and well stocked Clean and sanitize your workstation surfaces and equipment, including countertops, taking out trash, Perform routine cleaning tasks Reporting all damaged or faulty equipment to the manager or supervisor on duty Sweep and mop store every morning before store opening, sweep and mop walk-in fridges Assisting in other areas as needed Skills of the

Role:

Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities Comfortable working with knives, kitchen tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Attentive to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards Thorough knowledge of food safety procedures

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods (7-8 hours) Strong physical stamina Ability to lift, move, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs Training/knowledge of safe lifting techniques
