Job Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Grocery Stocker/Cashier Clerk, where you will play a vital role in creating a seamless shopping experience for our customers. This energetic position combines the fast-paced responsibilities of stocking and organizing grocery products with the friendly, customer-focused duties of cashiering. You will ensure shelves are fully stocked, products are properly displayed, and transactions are processed efficiently—all while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help us deliver exceptional service and keep our store running smoothly. Responsibilities Stock shelves with fresh produce, packaged goods, and other grocery items, ensuring accurate placement and attractive merchandising Operate RF scanners to scan products efficiently during stocking and checkout processes Assist customers with their purchases at the checkout counter, providing friendly and prompt cashiering service Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and reporting discrepancies Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring proper handling of goods in the warehouse area Maintain cleanliness of the store by performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, organizing storage areas, and sanitizing checkout stations Support shipping and receiving activities by organizing incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing orders for distribution or restocking Skills Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively and keep the store tidy Excellent communication skills to assist customers and collaborate with team members in a multilingual environment Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners for accurate stock tracking Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling bulk shipments or stocking shelves Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred) Knowledge of retail math to accurately handle transactions and maintain pricing accuracy Proven customer service skills to create a positive shopping experience for all patrons Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail Join us in delivering top-tier service while ensuring our store is well-stocked, organized, and inviting.
