Immediate opening for a Dock Lead in Redlands, CA who possesses: MUST-pass a drug test and a background check 1 to 2 years of experience leading dock operations including paperwork, manpower, packing, and wrapping of all outgoing customer orders. Experience assigning duties and training new employees. Must be able to drive a sit down, e-pallet and cherry picker forklift and be certified (From previous employer is ok) Experience with Cycle Counts. Email resumes to or call 858.496.7758.

FULL DESCRIPTION

: The selected candidate will be responsible for: Lead dock operations including paperwork, manpower, packing, and wrapping of all outgoing customer orders. Assure all orders are picked to set fill rate guidelines. Assign Dock duties and oversee their progress. Train and integrate new workers. Investigate picking overages and shortages. Aids in receiving and putting away of product. Perform cycle counts as necessary. Keeps Warehouse Supervisor/Managers apprised of daily operations. Will work independently, while directly reporting and working in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager. Ensure dock goals are accomplished. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness. Assist with routine dock activity when needed including operation of pallet jacks, forklifts, order pickers, turret trucks, and other power equipment. Ensure industry rules and regulations are followed. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. The selected candidate will also possess: High school diploma or equivalent Flexible, willing to accept new responsibilities and shift changes depending on changing needs. Must be able to speak, read, and communicate in English Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Ability to work well within a team. Ability to multi-task while prioritizing and executing tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organization, communication, and follow-up skills. Strong detailed understanding to accurately audit and pack orders. Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office. Ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment.
