Being self-motivated and self-directed are key to your success in this position. Below listed are the general job duties and functions that you will perform on a daily basis: Duties & Responsibilities Manages inventory to ensure selection, freshness, and availability of products. Follows procedures for effective inventory control. Effectively implements promotional programs, merchandising and pricing plans. Handles customer questions or requests for information about the products the store sells. Ensures company and government standards for safety, proper food handling practices and sanitation are maintained. Ensure a safe work environment for employees, customers, and yourself by keeping a clean area, cleaning up spills, and removing carts, pallets, fixtures, trash, and cardboard from sales floor. Ensures that department shelves, displays and storage areas are in clean, orderly condition, meeting health department and company standards. Ensures the department is well maintained and meets or exceeds company standards for appearance. Ensures correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise in warehouse and on display. Stands 100% of working shift Able to lift up to 70lbs on a consistent basis. Provide excellent customer service Works in a safe manner, understanding safety comes first in the workplace Can safely use a box knife to cut boxes Can Multi task Has a willingness to learn. Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Ability to get along with all associates and management. Ability to learn specific tasks on computer devices
