Littleton, CO Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 13 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Maintaining an organized workspace Full Job Description Tony's Market Job Description Title Produce Clerk Department(s) Produce Reports to Produce Manager Job summary Responsible for performing a variety of produce preparation duties such as prepping and packaging while offering extraordinary customer service.
Summary of essential job functions:
Immediately greets all customers and ensures customer satisfaction Clean work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware. Wash, peel and/or cut various foods to prepare for packaging. Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables to prepare them for recipes. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment. Prepare items such as guacamole, pico de gallo, salads and other items following recipes. Package produce items for sale following company guidelines. Rotate, stock and cull through all sales floor produce items on a minimum of a daily basis. Store and label food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Prepare a variety of foods according to customers' orders or supervisors' instructions, following approved procedures. Inform supervisors when supplies are getting low or equipment is not working properly. Complete specials projects and other duties as assigned Standard job functions: Upholds the 7 guiding principles of the company Support goals and vision of General Manager Consistently presents a professional personal image and uphold the company's uniform policy Maintain safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment Comply with all regulatory rules and regulations including HACCP, OSHA, Dept. of Labor, Weights and Measures and local food and sanitation laws. Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends Timely and consistent attendance. Knowledge, skills and abilities required: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills Ability to multitask and use organizational skills 1-2 Year previous produce experience preferred.
