Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our dynamic retail team. In this vital role, you will manage inventory flow, organize stock areas, and support store operations to ensure a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your energetic approach will help maintain an organized, visually appealing environment that reflects our brand standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in retail management, merchandising, and inventory control while contributing to the overall success of our store. Duties Receive, unpack, and accurately stock merchandise using schematics, planograms, and visual design principles to optimize product placement and presentation Maintain organized stockrooms through effective inventory management, shelving, labeling, and stock rotation practices Assist with merchandising efforts by setting up displays, remodeling sections, and applying interior design concepts to enhance visual appeal Support store management with inventory control tasks including pricing, stock replenishment, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions Conduct regular cleaning and organization of stock areas to ensure safety standards are met and the environment remains inviting for customers and staff Handle cash handling procedures with accuracy during cashiering duties and support retail sales initiatives through excellent customer service Train new team members on store procedures, inventory systems, merchandising techniques, and safety protocols to foster a collaborative team environment Requirements Proven supervising experience in retail or stockroom environments with strong leadership skills Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design and branding projects Knowledge of schematics, planograms, interior design concepts, and remodeling techniques Experience with inventory management systems, POS operations, retail math, and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills combined with organizational skills to coordinate tasks efficiently across teams Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively Strong merchandising skills including pricing strategies, store management practices, and visual presentation techniques Ability to manage time effectively while balancing stocking duties with customer service responsibilities Administrative experience related to training & development or store operations is advantageous Join us as a Stockroom Assistant where your energy fuels our success!
