Mon - Fri 5:00am - 1:30pm
Location:
601 E Rollins Street, Orlando, FL 32803
  • Receives and verifies drug orders and supplies against invoices and packing slips daily.
  • Rotates stock on shelves to prevent outdated drug situations and maintains shelves in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Inspects pharmacy inventory to remove outdated drugs and IV solutions.
  • Restocks IV room, ensuring all dates on IVs are within the 90-day guideline.
  • Delivers floor stock orders bi-weekly and manages the ordering and stocking of shelves.
  • Prepares solution requisitions daily using the MA System.
  • Provides information to pharmacy personnel and ancillary departments regarding drug availability.
  • Assists pharmacy personnel in locating drugs and supplies as needed.
  • Completes all work procedures scheduled during the shift without sacrificing quality.
  • Responds to changes in workload schedule and uses time productively for ordering, cleaning, clerical duties, and special projects.
  • Accepts additional duties such as staying late, filling in for co-workers, and preparing for inspections or inventory as needed.
  • Utilizes understanding of handling, processing, and appropriately disposing of waste materials within the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Willingness to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. [Required]
  • Cooperation with others, and ability to take orders readily and follow directions precisely. [Required]
  • Some initiative involved in providing assistance as required. [Required]
  • Ability to perform some bookkeeping records and do some filing.
