Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Grocery Associate and become a vital part of delivering exceptional shopping experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery department by managing inventory, stocking shelves, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help us provide fresh produce, quality products, and outstanding customer service every day. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail and warehouse skills while working in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Stock shelves efficiently by organizing products, including produce and packaged goods, ensuring accurate placement according to merchandising standards Manage inventory control through regular stock counts, using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track product levels Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts (certification preferred), and other equipment to maintain optimal stock levels Assist customers with their shopping needs by providing friendly service, product information, and support with checkout processes including cashiering and retail math calculations Maintain cleanliness of the store, including cleaning shelves, packing areas, and the overall shopping environment to meet health and safety standards Support shipping & receiving operations by preparing outgoing orders and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders Collaborate with team members in merchandising efforts to ensure attractive displays that promote sales and enhance the shopping experience Experience Previous warehouse experience or retail sales background is highly desirable Familiarity with inventory management systems, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and forklift operation (certification preferred) Strong communication skills in multiple languages are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout shifts Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, packaging, and maintaining the store environment Experience working in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work well within a team while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering quality products and outstanding service.
