Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Produce Associate and become a vital part of delivering fresh, high-quality produce to our customers! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the freshness, organization, and availability of produce items while providing exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming shopping environment where customers feel confident selecting their favorite fruits and vegetables. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your retail, inventory management, and merchandising skills in a fast-paced grocery store setting. Duties Stock, organize, and maintain produce displays to ensure freshness and visual appeal Use RF scanners for accurate inventory tracking and control Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and provide friendly service Perform heavy lifting when handling large produce crates or pallets using pallet jacks or forklifts as needed Manage shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently Maintain cleanliness of the produce area, including cleaning shelves, bins, and equipment Support merchandising efforts by rotating stock and implementing promotional displays Ensure proper packaging of produce for sale or shipment in accordance with safety standards Conduct inventory management tasks to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and excellent customer experiences Experience Previous warehouse or retail experience preferred, especially in grocery or produce departments Familiarity with inventory control systems and RF scanner technology is a plus Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts is desirable; certification preferred but not required Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a bonus for serving diverse customers Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking or unloading tasks Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate pricing and inventory management Demonstrated commitment to maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and product quality Join us in creating an inviting shopping experience where quality produce meets exceptional service!
