Job Description

Position Summary The Wellness Lead oversees the store's natural supplements and health and beauty operations, ensuring smooth execution, with a particular focus on meeting each customer's health-related needs. This role focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and ensuring the department is well-stocked, organized and visually appealing. The Wellness Lead serves as a trusted resource for customers seeking natural health products, vitamins, supplements, and wellness solutions. Key Responsibilities Work closely with vendor partners to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize inventory shrink Keep up to date with wellness trends and ensure that Totum Market has a timely and relevant product set. Maintain department conditions, including cleanliness, organization, signage, and product presentation. Support labor planning, scheduling, and real‑time labor adjustments Ensure compliance with OSHA policies, DSHEA regulations, and company policies. Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels. Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of department team members. Analyze daily and weekly reports to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions. Serve as Manager‑on‑Duty (MOD) as needed Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of relevant industry experience Strong understanding of store operations, merchandising, inventory management, and labor planning Proven ability to lead teams, coach performance, and build a positive culture Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of DSHEA compliance standards preferred High school diploma or GED required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs. Compensation Hourly Rate:
$24.00 - $26.92
