Job Description

Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. Stockroom Worker / Receiver Summary Receives all stock to include unloading trucks, unpacking shipments, verifying quantities and stocking in proper location. Will be required to operate a forklift and cherry picker.
Other duties include:
Receives all stock items. Counts and sorts incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice. Examines stock to verify conformance to specifications. Stocks items properly in the stockroom using forklift and/or cherry picker, to include rotating stock as needed. Prepares any items to be shipped as needed. Builds kits for the production line.
Compiles reports such as:
shipping/receiving logs, material transfers, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
Requirements:
1 year of experience preferred Must be 18 or older•Hazardous occupation Employer conducts drug screen
Work Schedule:
Full time. 40 hours per week. Monday•Thursday,5:00am to 3:45pm
Salary:
$15.50•$17.00 per hour.
