Stockroom Attendant Required Shift:
3rd Shift Floater Shift Hours will shift based on business need.
Job Purpose:
The Stockroom Attendant is responsible for performing all stockroom activities while reducing costs and ensuring efficient Stockroom operations. This position is in support of Maintenance and Operations by facilitating part availability and condition at the right time, the right place, and at the lowest cost possible. This is accomplished using standard operating procedures for inventory control and reduction, parts receiving and inspection, staging, proper material storage, parts preventive maintenance, metrics and other activities critical to world-class storeroom operations. Prepares reports and analyzes data in SAP, maintains a positive customer approach along with interpersonal and team building skills. What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements:
Must meet time in role (12 months) Must have approval from line manager to apply Must currently be in good standing High school diploma or GED 1 years of experience in a manufacturing environment In-house training required. Completion of certification program may be required. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting/carrying pushing (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling and gripping Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (minimum eight hours in one shift). Ability to read, write and speak
English Preferred Qualifications:
2years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience setting up a new stockroom or experience redesigning/optimizing an existing stockroom. Experience creating stockroom processes Experience using SAP Plant Mx, eMaint, or Maximo Proficient in Microsoft Office programs Has experience in vendor relations What will be your Key Responsibilities? Know and capable of communicating MSE stockroom KPIs (% of RR on BOM, % stock out, cycle count accuracy, total inventory value.) Prepares Stockroom reports and data analysis: Inventory discrepancy, expediting, obsolescence, receipts compliance, cycle counting, audit new part setups. Develops the appropriate communication strategy within the organization as well as vendors. Collaborates with Procurement on Vendor issues. Identifies gaps in current processes/systems and can evaluate potential action items. Operates with a sense of urgency with an ability to execute. Collaborate with Technical Planners on parts and work order issues and resolve.
Perform all Stockroom activities:
VMI account managing, receiving goods, storing inventory, issuing items from inventory, cycle counting, ordering manual requisitions, and interplant transfers. Perform Period planned tasks such as: Stockroom Period reports Inventory Discrepancy report Compliance training MRP adjustments Report Packing List Record keeping Perform service entries in SAP on Goods and Services/Accenture, new parts set-up What can you expect from Mars?
