We run a fast-paced retail operation across a 6-day market week and are looking for flexible, energetic Market Associates who can step into any of our event booths and confidently connect with our customers. Position Summary As a Market Associate , you are a flexible retail powerhouse. Depending on the schedule, you may be assigned to run different brand booths on different days. Your core responsibilities remain the same across all locations: providing excellent customer service, sharing our brand stories, managing point-of-sale inventory, and handling event logistics. Core Responsibilities 1.

Customer Engagement & Brand Advocacy:

warmly welcome all event attendees and act as the enthusiastic face of whichever brand booth you are operating that day. Quickly learn the unique story, features, and benefits of different product lines to answer customer questions confidently. Engage visitors in friendly, natural conversations to drive retail sales and build local brand loyalty. 2. Point of Sale (POS) &

Inventory Control:

smoothly process all customer transactions (cash, cards, and digital payments) using our POS system. Accurately track item variations (such as sizes, styles, or specific flavors) during checkout to keep our live inventory pristine. Keep retail displays fully stocked, visually appealing, organized, and meticulously clean throughout your shift. 3.

Operational Guidelines & Safety Compliance:

execute specific opening, midday, and closing checklists required for the assigned booth which may include food safety protocols, product sampling rules, or specialized customer reward/return programs. Maintain a secure cash drawer and ensure all financial or product tracking is logged correctly at the end of the day. 4.

Logistics, Setup, & Tech:

use our mobile app daily to view shift schedules, read team updates, and clock in/out. Setup and teardown of market materials (including pop-up tents, folding tables, heavy inventory crates, clothing racks, and brand signage).

Qualifications & Requirements High Adaptability:

Can pivot between different product types (e.g., apparel vs. specialty foods) depending on the day's assignment.

Interpersonal Skills:

Outgoing, community-minded, and exceptionally comfortable talking to a diverse public.

Tech-Savvy:

Fast learner capable of utilizing mobile apps for operations and retail checkouts (Square/Shopify POS).

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs routinely, stand outdoors for long periods through changing weather elements, and perform repetitive loading/unloading.

Reliability:

Exceptional punctuality for early morning event setups or late night event setups.
