Job Description
The Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining inventory throughout the store. This role ensures shelves are fully stocked, products are displayed neatly, and inventory is accurately tracked to provide an excellent shopping experience for customers. Key Responsibilities Receive and unload deliveries of beverages, snacks, and other store merchandise. Verify incoming shipments against invoices and delivery records. Stock shelves, coolers, displays, and storage areas according to company standards. Rotate products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method to maintain freshness and reduce waste. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom and sales floor. Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliation. Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other stocking equipment safely. Ensure pricing labels and product displays are accurate and properly positioned. Assist customers in locating products and provide friendly customer service when needed. Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous retail, warehouse, or stocking experience is an asset. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic math and inventory management skills. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to work in refrigerated cooler environments for extended periods. Capability to move and stock merchandise throughout the store efficiently. Benefits Competitive hourly wage.
