Job Summary:

The merchandiser will manage the appearance and shopability of Truong Enterprises products at retail by providing point of purchase and shelf management services; getting the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price for national and independent grocery chains in the Chicagoland area. The candidate must be energetic, dependable, have reliable transportation, be able to bend and stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30lbs without assistance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan and develop effective merchandising strategies. Take orders in stores accurately and submit for delivery in a timely manner. Stock sales shelves and create attractive displays. Monitor stock movement and convey need for markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs, etc.to the appropriate salesperson. Maintain and track inventory. Monitor and report in-store competitive activity to the sales team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and perform the job with little or no supervision on a timely basis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of management. Strong customer service and decision-making skills. Build constructive relationships with the team and customers. Knowledge of computer software. At least one year of relevant experience and the willingness to learn.
