Position Summary:
The Wholesale Flower Sales Associate supports daily wholesale operations by processing customer orders, managing inventory, assisting clients, and completing local deliveries as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, efficiency in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process wholesale orders, including pulling product, packing, and preparing orders for pickup or delivery Box, wrap, and prep flowers and supplies to ensure quality and freshness during transit Generate invoices and manage transactions using the MAS (POS) system Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with product selection, availability, and order inquiries Maintain and organize cooler inventory, ensuring proper rotation and minimal product loss Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs or shortages to management Assist with receiving shipments and verifying product quality and counts Complete local deliveries to wholesale customers, ensuring orders arrive on time and in excellent condition Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces, coolers, and delivery areas Support sales efforts by building and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale customers
Qualifications:
Previous experience in floral, wholesale, retail, or customer service environments preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfortable making local deliveries and navigating routes efficiently Familiarity with POS systems (MAS experience a plus) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Basic knowledge of flowers and floral care preferred Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 40 lbs) and work in cooler environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Schedule & Work Environment:
Required to work additional hours and days during floral/blackout period (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc) Work is performed in a warehouse, cooler environment, and on the road for deliveries
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
