Part-time Resale Shop Donation Processor

Hours:

Monday, Tuesday Wednesday & Friday. 28 hours: 10am - 5pm. Non-negotiable.

$15 per hour You must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs on a continuous basis A longtime established non-profit resale shop in Highland Park is looking for a reliable person to work as a part-time donation processor. The donation processor will be responsible for sorting clothes into usable and non-usable merchandise, assisting donors at the door in a courteous manner, assisting in receiving their donations. expressing gratitude for their contribution and providing the donor with a tax receipt. This is a labor intensive position. You must be able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds on a continuous basis. Further responsibilities will include, but is not limited to: Will assist with the hanging & tagging of clothing. Will also perform cashier duties, which involves operating a cash register and handling sales transactions. Responsible for placing clothing and other merchandise on the sales floor. This is not a summer job. We are looking for a permanent hire. No phone calls please.
