Job Description

Your tasks The Stockroom Associate II ensures customer delight in a cross-functional support role within the Stockroom department using intermediate-level functions. This role is expected to pull Manufacturing Orders and provide material for assembly while maintaining accurate inventory Duties and responsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Pull and Pick Manufacturing Orders per production schedule Pull and Pick Customer Orders as needed by shipping department Utilize Counting Scales for accurate transactions of material and elevate errors if found Adjust material quantities to assure accurate inventory Understand MIA transactions for accurate quantity adjustments by backtracking locations Request and process material through the intranet to maintain material requirement levels Support Assembly by supplying Kanban material while developing a level of assembly process knowledge Help Manage tube backflush levels Replenish Indirect materials such as O-Rings and Backup Rings Elevate issues and provide continuous improvement ideas Measure, weigh, and count products and materials Fulfill Engineering requests Assure that material is properly located in stockroom Assist with the movement of parts from receiving and secondary process lines Assist with the collection of reject logs from assembly Work closely with team leads to provide needed support Work with leads to Perform 7s duties as assigned Maintain and adhere to safety levels consistent with HydraForce and Government policies Ability to read parts drawings Utilize knowledge of parts to identify bad or mixed parts and piece part delivery accuracy Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Your profile Qualifications and Experience HS diploma or Equivalent required Associates Degree preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Attention to detail Intermediate knowledge of RF Scanners and/or Fourth Shift required Assist in the Coordination of workflow with other team members Ability to read part drawings is preferred Beginner to Intermediate computer skills Basic Math Skills Coordinate workflow with other team members Ability to count parts using a counting scale TWI Trainer Preferred Ability to operate material handling machinery such as electric pallet jacks, aerial lifts, and Stackers. Forklift certification Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: Lift and move up to 50 pounds repetitively Walk and stand for long periods of time Push carts with heavy loads Work Environment Majority of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high PPE required as determined by company safety standards: safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, safety shoes
